It feels like Christmas has arrived when we start our Christmas card competition. Behold the spirit of Christmas, captured beautifully in these eight cards from our young people!
All of the entries are fantastic. Everyone within Blue Sky Fostering has a chance to vote for their favourite, and it seems that we were all adament that our choice should be the winning one!
Here is a chance to view all of the entries. I'm sure you will agree that they are all winners!
Young Persons Voice

This young person created a beautiful rainbow landscape as the backdrop to write the finest of Christmas sentiments, 'Love, Give, Thanks.'
Should she win the competition, she would give the prize money to the cat home, 'because she loves cats and wants to help them.'
This young person has created a Christmas house that just about anyone would love to take shelter in. It's twinkling windows, snowy roof, and wreath above the door all give a wonderfully Christmassy feeling!
They have yet to decide on a charity to give to, at this stage merely enjoying art for arts sake. And when it's this lovely, why not?!
This picture just bursts to life, with so many elements making up this jolly christmas scene! This nine year old artist clearly has a lot of talent!
They would give to Chesnut Tree House if they won the compeititon, because 'It cares for very sick children.'
For all the cat lovers out there, this is surely a winning Christmas card! This lovely moggy has plenty of personality as he sits by the Christmas tree, nestled among the presents.
This young person would give to Children in Need, 'Because all children should be happy.'
The care and attention to detail in this design is really quite striking. The tree has been beautifully coloured in, Father Christmas is 'Ho-Ho-ing' and there's a real energy to the whole scene.
This young person would give to Chesnut House because, 'it looks after poorly children and their families.'
This robin could have come straight from a Christmas card! It's breast has been coloured in to be as warm as a fireside, and it's bright eye seems to look right out at its audience.
This skilled young person says if she won she would give to McMillan because her nanny had cancer.
What is Christmas without reindeer?! This jolly reindeer is wonderfully colourful with its bright baubles. The careful border around the edge of the card gives it a professional finish too.
This young person would help the NSPCC if they won because, 'I have attended NSPCC myself and feel they greatly helped me.'
This teen has carefully replicated this Stitch image bringing all the fun of Stitch to a Christmas card - I think we've all had our fair share of untangling Christmas lights! For now they are unsure of who they would give the prize money to, simply enjoying creating the Christmas card anyway!
Both the Robin and Stitch card came in as joint winners of the competition. Winners receive a £25 voucher, as well as £25 donated to a charity of their choice.
Congratulations to our Christmas Card Competition winners this year - we're already looking forward to more entries in 2025! 🎄
