1. Carols Beneath the Castle, Swanage
Carols Beneath the Castle will feature Purbeck choir Local Vocals, who’ll be singing a selection of classic Christmas songs, along with West Gallery carols from Dorset and carols from around the world. The family-friendly event will be held in the pub’s garden, with the illuminated castle as its backdrop, where winter warmers including hot dogs, hog roast, churros, mulled wine and mince pies will be served!

2. Carols in the Gardens, Dorchester
Enjoy live music and sing along to classic Christmas carols in the pretty Borough Gardens. Carol books will be provided, so everyone can take part while you sing together under the stars. Mulled wine and snacks will be available to purchase, making it a cosy and enjoyable evening for all. This year they are also encouraging people to make their own paper lanterns too.

2024 features a number of impressive light installations, including a galleon, walk-through lantern and bauble, an anchor as well as Christmas tree installations including the 13 metre blue sealife tree in Falkland Square. This enchanting light trail is sure to get you in the festive mood!
